Credit Card Donations
You can also donate with confidence using your credit card through our secure credit card donation platform. Your pledge will go directly to St. Vincent de Paul of Santa Clara County and you will be provided a receipt for your tax records. You can also opt to sign-up for recurring donations and company matching if your employer offers a matching program.
Auto Donations
Running or not, Auto Donations (we also take RVs, Boats, Motorcycles) are a great way to help those in need and they are tax deductible. Just contact us and we’ll pick up the vehicle, running or not, at no cost to you! And your donation helps us help others through our programs. It’s a great hassle free opportunity to give back to the community.
Merchandise Donations are Accepted at Our San Mateo Location
SVdP appreciates anything you donate, such as furniture, clothes, appliances, and refrigerators. The donated items need not be in perfect condition, however they should not need any repair or have any stains.

Items that they can pickup include clothing, shoes, accessories, household goods and furniture. They also re-cycle computers and electronics. Starting in October 2010, the San Mateo County SVDP will pick up donated goods in Santa Clara County only as far south as Sunnyvale, CA. Whether or not your item is accepted by the San Mateo SVdP will be based on the decision of the driver when he comes to pick up your items.
