The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Santa Clara County volunteers and Council employees got together at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Los Gatos for an appreciation pot-luck luncheon. Hosted by John Thielmann, President of the St. Mary SVdP Conference, it was an afternoon of bonding and celebrating our accomplishments in helping those in need throughout Santa Clara County. “We work hard as a team raising funds and providing support for our neighbors in need and this is our opportunity to bond as a group and share stories and best practices that help us meet the challenges that we face on a daily basis”, said Helene Stewart, President of SVdP of Santa Clara County. Founded in 1946, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Santa Clara County is a 501(c)3 non-profit and through the generosity of local donors, corporations and foundations has been providing support for the needy and impoverished in Santa Clara County for over 70-years.
